I somehow made it to PMX 08...
This is the 1st pic I have ready to post. An interesting photo of myself in my new Angelic Pretty dress standing (bashfully) in the middle of Japanese Visual-Kei band SUICIDE ALI. (I was so NERVOUS when I did this, I felt my heart race and my face turn red from blushing.)
I was so shy though. I took 3 pictures with them and I really wish I could of said something to them but- whaa!! I'm so shy and... I just couldn't say what I wanted to say!! =><= *blushing deep red*
I REALLY want to find a way to thank the Guitarist, Joshua (No. 069)/Yuu, for writing "Get Better" on my cast in katakana, =^^= *blushing*, and then signing it. ^^ The "Get Better" message defiantly has been a pick-me-up to look at since, when I returned at work... I got quite an earful from some of my supervisors and co-workers. (*she gets sad when she gets talked down to because of her injuries*)
I've had medical problems with that foot for almost a year now so, the cast (being the 3rd one I've ever worn and the 2nd time I've had one on my Right foot) on my foot was nothing new to me. At least THIS time the doctor knows what IS the problem. I ruptured the tendon in my right foot (I dunno the medical term for it but it runs from your knee down under your foot arch and it allows you to move your foot inward) and it gets swollen with too much activity, causing more injury. However, people at my workplace... had no clue about what has been going on. *sighs*
I was on some painkillers when I was there, so I could get around. I have to admit, it was odd but, nonetheless worthwhile. I enjoyed the short time I was there. And I hope to go again someday. I also hope to see SUICIDE ALI in concert and such again!!

Okay, I finally downloaded more photos off the camera. One thing I noticed about most of the pictures was... it's mostly cosplayers! Yay! Alright so, I'm going to post some of the AWESOME (and not so awesome) outfits and cosplays I captured at PMX '08.

Ah! L and Light from the popular series, Death Note. These two were a really fun set of cosplayers, especially with their game of "Who's Kira?"! In the game you simply hold the dessert that L is holding in this picture upside-down for a few seconds. If it stays stuck to the dish (like it did for me) you are NOT Kira but, if it falls to the ground then you ARE Kira. Simple.
Here is a photo of a group dressed as various characters from Death Note. (The one with the apple near the floor is Ryuk and the face hiding behind Misa is Mello... sorry about the quality of the picture going down after the resize.)
Here is someone who got QUITE a bit of attention at PMX '08! It's MAN-Haruhi!! Lol!! (He was later Joined by MAN-Mikuru and others, rofl!!)
Well, no convention with cosplay everywhere is complete without a few individuals dressing up from the ever-popular Final Fantasy Series games. Here is one of Cloud Strife from Final Fantasy VII.

Another popular cosplay, lately, has been Bleach. This was an interesting duo! ^_^
TALK ABOUT CREATIVITY!! This guy cosplayed as a Myspace page!! Lol! and sillier yet, it would fold out to this full page view (as seen in the picture above) and he also had a music player hooked up on the inside to play some favorite anime tunes along with 20 interchangeable emoticons for his "mood".

One cosplayer dressed as one of the many characters from the game, Dynasty Warriors.
A Gothic and Lolita group. I love their outfits! Also, the Lolita to the far left is so pretty! I wonder how he pulled it off so well? Amazing!

I was just happy to be at an event that accepted both cosplayers and lolitas. It was LOADS of fun! ^_^
